** Dien Bien Phu - Countless war sites dot throughout Vietnam. One among them, that is worthy of your time is the Dien Bien Phu. It is fabled that a war (of the same name) was battled at this site. Did you know that the French was overpowered in this war? It came as a surprise, especially while considering the fact that the French was substantiated by the United States. Since the site is present approximately 450 kilometers from the capital Hanoi, it is wiser to utilize the services of buses and rental cars to access Dien Bien Phu.

** Hoi An - A quick visit to Hoi An will enable you to understand the diversity that is prevalent throughout the region. Easy access to the backwaters and the sea had led many civilizations to gain access to Vietnam back in the olden days.
